PHILADELPHIA, PA, October 2, 2019 — Incumbent Philadelphia City Councilman Al Taubenberger, a life-long resident of the Fox Case neighborhood in Northeast Philadelphia, has thus far picked up 20 valuable endorsements in his bid for a second term on City Council. The list of endorsing organizations includes a triumvirate of public safety unions, including Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5, Pennsylvania FOP Lodge 37 – PA State Police and Philadelphia Firefighters & Paramedics Local Union 22. Taubenberger also earned the coveted endorsement of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, along with a wealth of other high-profile unions. Taubenberger has unique experience in both worlds, having served for years as the President of the Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and as a card-carrying member of the Teamsters Union.
