Al’s Birthday Bash and Fundraiser

It was a packed house at the Danube Swabian Association on August 18th as City Council at-Large candidate Al Taubenberger celebrated his birthday. In attendance were a who’s who of Philadelphia Republican Party figures such as City Commissioner Al Schmidt, PA State Representative. Martina White (170th Legislative District) Councilman Brian O’Neill (10th Council District), Party Chairman and PA State Representative. John Taylor (177th Legislative District). But attendance was not limited to current elected officials, familiar figures from yesteryears were also present including former Party Chairman Vito Canuso, Former Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives John Perzel and Former Councilman Jack Kelly were also present. In fact, it was the former Councilman Jack Kelly who introduced Al Taubenberger to a standing ovation as Kelly stated that is “Taubenberger Time“.

With family, friends and allies present an enthusiastic Al Taubenberger took the stage to the Rocky theme. Al was in his element as he passionately talked about the problems facing Philadelphia and how he would go about creating more jobs, lowering taxes, bettering the Quality of Life in our neighborhoods, and increasing public safety.
